What I’m working on today…
The Icelandic Turtleneck (from Crochet Me: Designs to Fuel the Crochet Revolution) was one of the first patterns I wanted to make when I really started to become (let’s face it) obsessed with crochet. Now, over a year later, I’m finally making it.Â

Grow, grass, grow!
Last weekend, I planted grass. It was hard, physically demanding work, but I feel very accomplished in the end. Now it just needs to grow!

Koolaid Dyeing – Part 3
This last batch was our favorite of the night. Three yarns – Cascade 220 Superwash, Woolease and some Cotton. ( I think that’s what we had!). We soaked the yarn, and layed it in the crockpot of hot water. Let the fun begin!

Koolaid Dyeing – Part 2
Our second koolaid color of the night: Cherry! For this batch, we mixed the cherry koolaid directly into the crockpot, and added the yarn. We used woolease.

Koolaid Dyeing – Part 1
This is the first of several posts on our Koolaid dying. This color involved one skein of Lion wool, one color made from grape koolaid and a second color made from blend of blue cake dye and green food coloring.
